Welding steel is one of the simpler materials.

In welding parlance, “More will forgive you”.
Repairs are not difficult, the material is not so susceptible to environmental cleanliness.
Recommended as a starter bridge – Suitable for beginners.

Steel is also the most used material in welding history.
Its properties such as strength, corrosion resistance and formability make it ideal for a wide range of applications.

Use: Construction, Automotive, Energy, Consumer Goods, Transportation, Defense, Agriculture, Manufacturing Equipment, Chemical

Stainless steel is more difficult to work with than conventional steel.

The process is more susceptible to cleanliness and the preparation has to be much more precise.
It is better to start welding stainless steel after ordinary steel. Stainless steel is very attractive to welders because the resulting welds have beautiful colouring and are a work of art in the hands of an experienced welder.
As a result, stainless steel is often used in highly visible places.

Use: Construction, food industry, medical industry, automotive industry, chemical industry, marine industry, energy sector, appliance manufacturing, architecture and design, agriculture

Duplex is a more expensive material.
Working with it requires welding experience.

This material is recommended as a “superstructure” for stainless steel.
The material behaves very similarly. Duplex itself is a very high quality material that is used in harsh environments because it can take a lot.
It is definitely not a good first material to learn because of its price.

Use: Oil and gas industry, chemical industry, paper and pulp industry, marine and maritime industry, construction industry, water and wastewater industry, energy industry, pharmaceutical industry, food industry, heat exchanger production

Aluminium is very difficult to weld.
Definitely not recommended as a material to start with.

Aluminum itself as a material is very cheap, but working with it is already for “more experienced workers”.
It has a very low melting temperature, so it will not forgive you as much as ordinary steel.
It is very demanding on cleanliness, because aluminium is constantly oxidizing.
At the same time, unlike most materials, aluminium is cooked by alternating current to very high parameters, so it cooks at a very high rate.

It is recommended to choose it as one of the last materials a welder should learn.
At the same time, aluminum should be welded with the highest degree of health protection.
It is already a discipline for the “big boys and girls”.

Use: Aerospace, Automotive, Construction, Electrical, Packaging, Marine, Appliance, Healthcare, Sports Equipment, Energy

Working with Titanium is very difficult because of the demand for cleanliness.

At the same time, it is a very expensive affair because the material itself is expensive, but the equipment and gases needed are several times more expensive than for most materials.
In addition, you have to be very experienced to achieve the desired weld quality.

It is a very well paid job, but also very demanding physically, as the components for welding Titanium add unnecessary extra weight and maintaining accuracy is already very challenging afterwards.
We only recommend this material for welders who have been welding for several years and are really passionate about working with this material.
Of all these basic materials, Titan is the least used.
However, it has its place in every industry, even if only in the most demanding places.

Use: Aerospace, chemical industry, medical industry, automotive industry, marine industry, sports equipment, energy sector, military industry, jewelry industry, industrial applications
