Aluminium is very difficult to weld.
Definitely not recommended as a material to start with.
Aluminum itself as a material is very cheap, but working with it is already for “more experienced workers”.
It has a very low melting temperature, so it will not forgive you as much as ordinary steel.
It is very demanding on cleanliness, because aluminium is constantly oxidizing.
At the same time, unlike most materials, aluminium is cooked by alternating current to very high parameters, so it cooks at a very high rate.
It is recommended to choose it as one of the last materials a welder should learn.
At the same time, aluminum should be welded with the highest degree of health protection.
It is already a discipline for the “big boys and girls”.
