Welding steel is one of the simpler materials.
In welding parlance, “More will forgive you”.
Repairs are not difficult, the material is not so susceptible to environmental cleanliness.
Recommended as a starter bridge – Suitable for beginners.
Steel is also the most used material in welding history.
Its properties such as strength, corrosion resistance and formability make it ideal for a wide range of applications.

Stainless steel is more difficult to work with than conventional steel.
The process is more susceptible to cleanliness and the preparation has to be much more precise.
It is better to start welding stainless steel after ordinary steel. Stainless steel is very attractive to welders because the resulting welds have beautiful colouring and are a work of art in the hands of an experienced welder.
As a result, stainless steel is often used in highly visible places.

Duplex is a more expensive material.
Working with it requires welding experience.
This material is recommended as a “superstructure” for stainless steel.
The material behaves very similarly. Duplex itself is a very high quality material that is used in harsh environments because it can take a lot.
It is definitely not a good first material to learn because of its price.
